CFCC Chain of Custody (CoC) Certification

The China Forest Certification Commission (CFCC) Chain of Custody Certification enables clients to prove their sustainable and environmental management processes for their wood products within the Chinese market.

What is CFCC CoC Certification?

Developed by the Chinese government, the China Forest Certification Commission (CFCC) and the China forest certification project created the China Forest Certificate to ensure conformity of the forestry industry with national standards.

Following the principle of sustainable management, the China Forest Certification Commission (CFCC) carries out certification work for forest environment controls and forest management. The certification of non-timber forest products is a management certification, while timber and wood products can be certified according to the CFCC forest management certification and Chain of Custody (COC) standard. The CFCC project has been mutually recognized with PEFC, which means that all CFCC certified timber and wood products also get PEFC certification.

Benefits of CFCC CoC Certification

A CFCC CoC Certificate helps clients to:

  1. Determine and prove the origins of their wood products.
  2. Demonstrate that products are derived from certified, well-managed or other controlled wood resources and recycled materials.
  3. Demonstrates an organization's commitment to responsible management of forests.
  4. Minimizes environmental risks.
  5. Helps enhance and improve organizational performance.
